ELNORA SKAGGS, 73, of Springfield, Ohio, died Tuesday morning, July 20, 2010 in Springfield Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Mazie, Kentucky on March 16, 1937 the daughter of the late Joseph Luther and Grettie (Ferguson) Skaggs.
Elnora is survived by two sisters-in-law, Gladys Skaggs and Fay Skaggs and nieces and nephews, James Skaggs, Helen (Bob) Baughn, Barbara (Elmer) Hall, Sally (Brandon) Daniels, Herbie (Lois) Skaggs, Donna (Richard) Hall, Edna (Bob) Leath, Linda Gillespie, and Brenda St. John. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Wilber H. and Joseph H. Skaggs, and a niece, Diane Keeton. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-8 p.m. Thursday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME as well as one hour prior to the funeral service which will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Caines Creek Freewill Baptist Church, Blaine, Kentucky.
Burial will be in Skaggs Cemetery, Coal Creek, Kentucky.
